Maritime Studies in India is a newly emerged branch, including in-depth studies and research related to the field. - About College:
The institute was established in 1998, to provide best-in-class candidates. The curriculum trains students for all kinds of job requirements on the ship. There are two campuses of the college, one in Mumbai and the second one in Induri. It has about 1500 students, on-campus and in distance learning. They annually hold a technical paper presentation and competition on various innovative subjects working around current global issues, which enhances the soft skills and abilities of students.

- About College:
It works as one of the separate departments of the MIT-ADT institute. This private college is approved by the Directorate General of Shipping, Govt. of India. The campus is in Loni Kalbhor, on the outskirts of Pune. Their primary aim is to train students in this residential program, both academically and physically.

Minimum 60% in PCM and appearance in their private entrance test is the basic eligibility.

- Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies
- About College:
The college was started to provide maritime training to aspiring students. The campuses are located in two cities; the Mumbai campus provides the Post-Sea facility and Lonavala for Pre-Sea Training.
- Eligibility:
Minimum 55% aggregate in PCM in your HSC exam and IMU-CET is mandatory. For lateral entries, a diploma or BSc with 60% is required.

- About College:
The college is affiliated with Indian Maritime University and was established in 2009. They have a tie-up with Bernhard Schulte Ship Management Ltd., a global leading shipping company. It is a division of Vishwakarma Institutions, initially founded in Pune. Recently, they have opened up a branch in Delhi offering the same course. An interesting part of this course is that they have a mock-up ship built on campus for students’ better learning experience.
- Eligibility:
Minimum 60% aggregate in PCM, with regional or national level entrance exams such as CET or JEE, is required. Lateral entry is also accepted for the post of B.Sc by the college, depending on the vacancy.
